Academic Affairs Committee – Specialties (CAP-S)

The Academic Affairs Committee – Specialties (CAP-S) makes recommendations to the Board of Directors through the Director responsible for Academic Affairs – Specialties on any matter relating to the pedagogical aspect of postgraduate medical education in specialties other than family medicine. The Committee also provides its opinion with respect to any question submitted to it in that regard, and, as applicable, lobbies the different bodies in connection with postgraduate medical education in specialties other than family medicine, on the basis of positions established by the Federation. The Committee is composed of resident doctors in training in non-family medicine specialties.
